An error mitigation software providing unbiased results for general quantum algorithms

In this talk, Dorit Aharonov, Chief Scientific Officer at Qedma, introduces QESEM – Qedma’s advanced error suppression and mitigation software designed to overcome noise limitations in today’s quantum devices. QESEM enables quantum algorithms to run as if on noise-free hardware, delivering unbiased and reliable results across a wide range of applications and platforms.

The presentation highlights QESEM’s strong performance, including significant speedups over existing methods and demonstrations on large-scale quantum hardware. Aharonov also introduces the concept of “active volume” as a key metric for evaluating error mitigation capabilities. The results show a clear path toward achieving quantum advantage on near-term devices, unlocking computations that are beyond the reach of classical supercomputers.
